Here are some tried-and-tested DWUK favourite recipes using Cawston Press. Enjoy!

Cawston Cocktails – Rhubarb Aperol Spritz 

  • 50ml Cawston Press Sparkling Rhubarb
  • 50ml Aperol
  • 50ml Soda water
  • Half a lemon
  • Orange, to garnish

Fill a large wine glass with ice. Pour the Rhubarb, Aperol and soda over ice. Add the juice of half a lemon, or less if you prefer the drink less tart. Garnish with an orange twist or slice.

 

Cawston Cocktails – Rhubarb Negroni 

  • 25ml London dry gin
  • 25ml Campari
  • 25ml Martini Rosso
  • Cawston Press Sparkling Rhubarb, to top
  • Orange, to garnish

In an ice filled glass, stir together 25ml each of gin, Campari and Martini Rosso, then top with Cawston Press Sparkling Rhubarb. Add a slice of orange to garnish.

Cawston Cocktails – Rhubarb Snowball

  • 40ml Advocaat
  • 40ml Fino Sherry
  • 1 lime
  • Cawston Press Sparkling Rhubarb, to top

Shake Advocaat, Sherry and lime juice together with ice. Strain into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with Sparkling Rhubarb. Add lime wedge to garnish.

 

Cawston Cocktails – Sloe Motion

  • 20ml Sloe Gin
  • Cawston Press Sparkling Elderflower Lemonade
  • Lemon twist

Pour the gin into a Champagne flute, then top with the Elderflower Lemonade. Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.

 

Cawston Cocktails – Gingerbread Collins

  • 40ml vodka
  • 40ml PX Sherry
  • Cawston Press Ginger Beer
  • Lemons
  • Ground ginger, mixed spice and cinnamon
  • Root ginger, sliced

Shake the vodka, sherry, 1/2 lemon juice, 2 pinches of ground ginger and 1 pinch cinnamon and mixed spice in an ice filled shaker. Strain into Collins glass. Top with Cawston Press Ginger Beer and garnish with slices of lemon and root ginger.
