Business Development Manager - Drink Warehouse UK Careers

Role Overview: 

We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals to join our dynamic and growing sales team based out of our Head Office in Manston Kent.  While this is an entry-level role, we welcome candidates that have previous field sales experience with account management experience.  This role offers hands on experience in sales and customer management, with structured training and mentorship designed to build a strong foundation for a successful career in sales.  You will have your own customer portfolio to proactively manage, maintain and grow.  Over time we see this role developing into a Key Account Manager position within the company.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Grow, develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customer portfolios through visits, calls, emails and networking
  • Be the primary point of contact for your accounts
  • Build relationships with our brand partners
  • Support the sales team in identifying new business opportunities
  • Maintain and update systems with customer and sales data
  • Learn and apply effective sales techniques and product knowledge
  • Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations and reports
  • Achieve or exceed set sales targets and KPI’s
 
Key Skills
  • Ideally you will have a degree in Business or Marketing
  • Strong interest in developing a career in sales, with a clear vision for growth
  • Hungry for success with a strong desire to win
  • Tenacious and competitive
  • Growth mindset and self-motivated
  • Field sales experience (for those that are not new into a BDM role) 
  • Full UK driving licence

Key Account Manager - Drink Warehouse UK Careers

Role Overview: 

DWUK are recruiting for Key Account Managers in to join our sales team in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.  This position involves identifying new business opportunities while managing and continuing to grow our existing portfolio.  Ideally, you will have previous industry knowledge of the drinks industry, products and on trade, although this is not essential.

This role is field-based with occasion visits to HQ and comes with a competitive salary, including car allowance and performance based bonuses.  The ideal candidate is a passionate, self-motivates individual who enjoys building relationships.  You will organise your day to maximise opportunities in your area.


This role will require you to have a Full UK driving Licence

  • Previous field sales based experience in on trade 
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • WSET L1 preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strategic thinker 
  • Fluency in Microsoft office suite (outlook, excel, word, power point etc)
