They live in the Doghouse!

Doghouse Distillery was created in 2016 in Battersea, London, chosen for the industrial and grungy vibe. The name ‘Doghouse’ was chosen to reflect the hint of rebellion that goes alongside passion and innovation. Because we all know the times when you have a drink or four and end up ‘in the doghouse’.

The distillery has a micro-brewery with 3 rectification columns and a 1,500 litre copper pot still. Doing things the hard way, Doghouse make their base spirit from scratch, doing things ‘properly’ as one of the few distillers that does this. They like the control they have over the entire process with the accountability for the unique quality of their mastered creations.

Doghouse source all of our grain locally, the majority of which comes from farms in Norfolk. Buying the whole grain and milling it onsite is the first step. They then take it to the brewery and mash it to release sugars before pitching yeast which kicks off fermentation turning this wort into beer.

Everything they do at Doghouse is inspired by music, if you think about it if you are drinking you are generally listening to music. Each of our core spirits has its own genre of music and its own style of art. Baller Vodka is born of Hip Hop and Rap, with its name reflecting that.
