Introducing Renegade Brewery

INDEPENDENTLY BREWED CRAFT BEERS WITH STORIES & IMAGINATION

Stories are vital to us. They help us share experiences, break free from routines, form new communities, and learn new skills. Storytelling has always been linked to sharing food and drink, especially beer. From the start, the focus has been on creating unique beers with bold flavours and intriguing stories.

With a commitment to using top-quality, locally sourced ingredients, beers like Mr Chubb’s, Good Old Boy, and Maggs’ Mild have been crafted. Each beer has its own story, and the tradition continues to evolve. As the brewery team explores new flavours and styles, fresh Renegade craft stories emerge with beers like Queensbury Jack, Maverick, and Brewski.

WHO ARE RENEGADE BREWERY?

At Renegade, inclusivity is central to their mission. They bring together the passion, skill, and experience of their team to craft top-quality beer and foster a welcoming environment where everyone can relax, unwind, and support one another. They believe that diverse perspectives lead to better decision-making and encourage individuality to achieve outstanding results through collaboration. Many of their best ideas have emerged from conversations over a pint in their Taproom, where innovative solutions are born and the status quo is challenged.

Located in a distinctive rural setting, Renegade Brewery combines imaginative storytelling with a dedication to small-batch, independently brewed beer. Driven by earth-friendly goals, they produce beers that are not only exceptionally drinkable but also inclusive of everyone.

At their core, the team at Renegade identifies as Renegades, Misfits, and Adventurers.

RENEGADE BREWERY AND SUSTAINABILITY

Renegade Brewery has been committed to sustainability for some time, steadily implementing measures to reduce its carbon footprint. They have installed 1,088 solar panels, which provide around 40% of their electrical needs, generating 435,000 KWH of renewable energy. As an FSC-registered company, all their card packaging is sourced from responsible forestry materials. Spent grain is sent to local farms for cattle feed, and customers are encouraged to use reusable bags or boxes when shopping.

Their merchandise is made from organic cotton and recycled polyester, and orders are shipped in recyclable packaging. The brewery promotes refillable growlers for takeout beer and recycles 93% of its waste, with the remaining 7% incinerated for energy. Recycling stations are placed throughout office and team areas, and they use EU Ecolabel printer paper to support eco-friendly practices.

Additionally, Renegade Brewery has installed a nitrogen generation plant to reduce CO2 dependence and eliminate delivery needs, cutting down on truck emissions. They are also planning to develop a wastewater treatment plant to better manage waste and further reduce their carbon footprint.
