Teremana Tequila – The Process
Teremana is meticulously crafted using only fully mature 100% Blue Weber Agave, cultivated in the highlands of Jalisco. The iron-rich volcanic soil of this region is perfect for growing agave with a higher natural sugar content. Once the agave plants reach full maturity, they are harvested by the skilled hands of jimadores, artisans who have perfected their craft over generations.
The harvested piñas, or hearts of the agave, are then slow roasted in small, traditional brick ovens for three days at low temperatures. This slow roasting process softens the agave fibres and increases the natural sugars available for extraction. After roasting, the agave piñas are shredded to extract the juice for fermentation.
Following an open tank fermentation process, Teremana is double distilled using handmade 100% copper pot stills, crafted by local artisans. This use of copper pot stills not only honours the traditional tequila-making process but also results in a smoother, more refined tequila. Every step of Teremana’s production reflects a deep respect for tradition and a commitment to excellence, ensuring a tequila that truly stands out.

Teremana Tequila Recipes
People’s Margarita
Ingredients:
60ml Teremana Blanco
25ml Lime Juice
15ml Agave Nectar
30ml Pineapple Juice
Add Teremana Blanco, lime juice, agave nectar, and pineapple juice to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled. Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel, pineapple leaves, and a sprinkle of sea salt as desired.
Coconut Lime Margarita (Serves 8 – 10)
Ingredients:
360ml Teremana Blanco
60ml Lime Juice
60ml Coconut Syrup
720ml Coconut Soda
Add Teremana Blanco, lime juice, and coconut syrup to a large pitcher with ice. Stir gently to incorporate. Strain the mixture and pour into rocks glasses rimmed with chili salt and filled with fresh ice. Top with coconut soda. Garnish with a lime wheel.
Bloody Maria
Ingredients:
60 ml Teremana Blanco
120 ml Tomato Juice
15 ml Fresh Lemon Juice
4 dashes of Worcestershire sauce
3 to 4 dashes of Mexican hot sauce
Pinch of celery salt
Pinch of ground pepper
Build the cocktail in a Collins glass filled with ice. Add Teremana Blanco, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery salt, and ground pepper. Stir well to combine. Garnish with a lemon and lime wedge. Add olives, celery, and any other desired garnishes.
